Prof Ahmed Moussa - Director of The National School of Applied Sciences
A. Moussa received the MS degree in Automatic Control from the University of Oujda, Morocco, in 1994, and the Ph.D. in Data analysis and Information Theory from the University of Kenitra, Morocco, in 2001. He worked two years as a post-graduate researcher at the University of Lille-France, and Three Years as Bioinformatician at Sanofi-Aventis Research Group in Montpellier-France. Between 2006 an 2010 he was assistant Professor at the Abdelmalek Essaadi University of Tangier Morocco. And from 2010 to 2016 associate Professor. Since 2017, he is Full Professor in Bioinformatics and Data Analysis, and the Director of the National School of Applied Sciences of Tangier-Morocco

Sara EL JADID () is a PhD student working in Bioinformatics in the field of analyzing Proteomics data. Prior to beginning the PhD program, Sara has completed her Master degree with honors in bioinformatics in the National School of Applied Science of Tangier-Morocco. She had an internship in INRA in Paris (France) for her Master thesis where she developed new features for MassChroQ (a tool performing quantification of proteins). She is a training assistant for the CODATA-RDA School for research data science. After being a student in the event, she was invited in Trieste, Sao Paulo and Kigali to act as a mentor to provide assistant and mentorship to participants. She is preparing herself to become a researcher involved in high technology programs in bioinformatics and she has special interest in some key areas of research, such as proteomics, drug discoveries, rare diseases and cancer.

Boutaina ETTETUANI was born in Tangier, Morocco in December 1992. Currently a second year PhD student in bioinformatics whose subject is a meta-analysis of next generation sequencing data related to glomerulopathies for the search of therapeutic targets involved in the activation of the C3 protein. Graduate of a Master's degree in Bioinformatics and Complexs Systems at the National School of Applied Sciences of Tangier (ENSAT). The university curriculum includes a Bachelor's Degree in computer science from the Faculty of Science and Technology of Tangier (FSTT) and a baccalaureate in physics and chemistry from the Moulay Abdelaziz Institute of Tangier in 2011. in my first year of thesis , i participated to Research Data Summer School; From 06/08/2018 to 17/08/2018; ICTP, Trieste, Italy, and The CODATA-RDA Research Data Science Applied Workshop on Bioinformatics; From 20/08/2018 to 24/08/2018; ICTP, Trieste, Italy.

Ismail JAMAIL is a PhD student in bioinformatics at the university of Abdelmalek Essaadi. He holds a master's degree in bioinformatics from the National School of Applied Sciences of Tangier with honor. His current research work mainly focuses on genomic data analysis with particular interest in differential gene expression analysis, clustering and data mining. It primarily involves developing new methods for the analysis of RNA sequencing and DNA sequencing data, as well as the conception and development of new genomic data analysis pipelines. He also provides training in bioinformatics at the Moroccan Bioinformatics and Health Informatics Center.

Chadia ED-DRIOUCH is a second year PhD student in Bioinformatics at the National School of Applied Sciences of Tangier, Abdelmalek Essaâdi University, Morocco. Her research interests are in the areas of machine learning and gene expression data analysis. Her current research focuses on the integration of the ontological information for the improvement of the target selection process in NGS data. She holds a master's degree in Bioinformatics and Complex Systems from the National School of Applied Sciences of Tangier (Morocco) and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from the Faculty of Sciences of Oujda (Morocco). She did an intership in the INDATAMIN society of biotechnology, Oujda, Morocco. She has also participated in The CODATA-RDA Research Data Science Summer School and The CODATA-RDA Research Data Science Applied Workshop on Bioinformatics at the International Centre for Theoretical Physics, Trieste, Italy.

Ayyoub Salmi is a PhD student in bioinformatics at the University of Abdelmalek Essaadi. He received his master's degree in bioinformatics from the National School of Applied Science of Tangier with honours. He is a former bioinformatics engineer at the University of Limoges. His main research interests are software engineering, genomics data analysis and genomic selection. He also provides training in bioinformatics at the Moroccan Bioinformatics and Health Informatics Center.
